Cheese dairy
The Fromaerie Hauser is located in the village of Le Lieu. Its production is sold in the village grocery shop, in various shops in the Vallée de Joux, as well as in two creameries in Lausanne and Ecublens. A large part of the production is distributed by wholesalers.
The cheese dairy receives milk from eight member producers and three mountain pastures.
The flagship products are Vacherin Mont d'Or AOP and Gruyère AOP, but not only. Its range also includes mild, semi-salted and salted Gruyère, Cabochon, Crémeux, Tommette, plain raclette cheese, spiced raclette cheese, as well as Sérac, a variety of 26 yogurts, two types of custard, as well as the inevitable butter and double cream.
