The Essor Art Gallery is a magnificent gallery of 150 m2 that welcomes Swiss artist as well as artists from all over the world in an inviting atmosphere.
A dozen exhibits are presented each year. Artists are chosen by a commission whose criteria of selection doesn’t necessarily mirror the criteria of private art galleries. Artists may be chosen for artistic, cultural, regional, or educational qualities or for their connection to an event or season. This liberal diversity immerses visitors into a rich and varied experience with each exhibition.
Not only does the Essor have the vocation of an art gallery, it is also a meeting place encouraging encounters and exchange. Once a watchmaking factory, the building also houses the Espace Horloger, the museum of watchmaking.
